MODULE 2
VIAȚA DE TEHNICIANĂ: CE DRUM ALEGI?
At home, in a studio, in a salon, as a trainer or content creator
In the nail industry, there isn't just one right path. You can work from home, open your own studio, get hired at a salon, become a trainer, or create content for brands. You can even combine several of these directions.
The important thing is to understand what each option looks like in reality, not just how it appears on social media. Each path comes with advantages, limitations, responsibilities, investments, and a different lifestyle.
This course helps you discover what you truly want and choose the right path for the life you want to build.
PRE-LANSARE: Cursurile vor fi disponibile în contul tău începând cu 1 noiembrie 2026.

- You have only seen the beautiful side of each direction on social media.

What your career can look like
Technician working from home
It can be a good option at first, but you need to understand the difference between a separate space, prepared and authorized for business, and working in the living room or a room used by the whole family.
Working from home can reduce certain costs, but it can affect the separation between personal and professional life. Clients enter your personal space, your schedule may end up taking over your entire day, and your family may feel that the home has permanently become a workplace.
Technician in a private studio
The studio offers you more control over your schedule, atmosphere, services, and image. At the same time, it brings more responsibilities: organizing the space, costs, appointments, supplies, paperwork, and the complete relationship with each client.
You have more freedom of decision, but freedom comes with more work and less free time, especially in the beginning.
Employee at a salon
As an employee, you can have a clearer schedule and fewer administrative responsibilities. You don't have to manage all the costs, promotion, paperwork, or the operation of the entire space on your own.
This option can offer more time for family and more stability, but you will have less control over your schedule, rules, prices, and way of working.
Salon owner
A salon is not just about working in a beautiful space. It means organization, costs, promotion, managing people, problem-solving, and responsibility for the entire operation.
It is a suitable direction for those who want to build and coordinate a business, not just work with clients.
Trainer
Being very good technically does not automatically mean you are prepared to be a trainer. A trainer must know how to explain, have patience, observe mistakes, and adapt the information to the level of each student.
You have the responsibility to transmit correct information, to help your students understand, and to monitor their progress. A trainer's role is not just to demonstrate what they know how to do, but to succeed in teaching others as well.
Content creator for brands
You can create content for your own account or for brands, even if you don't have a salon and even if you still work with clients. You need vision, creativity, consistency, and the ability to present a product clearly and attractively.
In the course, you will understand how to develop your visual eye, where to look for inspiration, which accounts to follow, and how to build a portfolio that can attract collaborations.
Collaborations, PR products, and barter
Not every product received for free means a paid collaboration. Barter means that the brand offers you products, and in exchange, you provide content or promotion.
In the beginning, a suitable barter can help you practice, build your portfolio, and demonstrate what you can achieve. Over time, you must understand the value of your work and the difference between gifted products, barter, and content for which you are paid.
You will learn how to present yourself to brands and how to create content good enough for collaborations to evolve from gifted products to paid projects.
More clarity. A path suited to your life.
After completing the course, you will have clearer benchmarks for:
- To realistically compare all professional paths.
- To understand the pros and cons of each option.
- To decide how much freedom and responsibility you want.
- To choose based on the time you want to keep for your family.
- To separate the beautiful image on social media from the real work behind it.
- To understand whether you are better suited to work alone or in a team.
- To discover if you have the right profile to become a trainer.
- To start creating content for brands.
- To understand the difference between barter and paid collaboration.
- To build a career that fits the life you want to have.
You don't have to choose the same path for the rest of your life. You can start from home, you can continue in a salon, you can open your own studio, and in time, you can become a trainer or a content creator. The important thing is to know why you are choosing each stage and where you want to end up.
It is for you if…
- You are just starting out and don't know which direction to choose.
- You are already working, but feel that your current path no longer suits you.
- You want to understand the differences between working from home, in a studio, or in a salon.
- You are thinking about becoming an employee or opening your own space.
- You want to organize your career around your personal life and family.
- You want to become a trainer and understand the responsibilities of this role.
- You want to create content for brands, but don't know how to start.
- You want to attract collaborations for products or paid projects.
- You need clarity before investing time and money in a direction.
- You want to build a career tailored to your personality and goals.
It is not for you if…
- You already know exactly what career path you want and are familiar with its responsibilities.
- You are not interested in exploring directions other than working with clients.
- You are only looking for a practical course on nail artistry.
- You do not want to realistically analyze the time, effort, and responsibilities of each option.
- You believe that the image seen on social media always reflects the reality behind a career.
