MODULE 3

CUM LUCREZI LEGAL CA TEHNICIANĂ DE UNGHII

Legal forms, taxes, space authorization, costs, profit, and calculating the right price

In this course, I explain in simple terms what it means to start and run a business in the nails industry. You will understand the difference between a sole proprietorship (PFA), individual enterprise (ÎI), and limited liability company (SRL), which option might be suitable for your activity, where to go, whom to ask, and what responsibilities you have once you start working legally.

But the most important part of the course is your pricing. You don't set your prices based on your neighbor, your city, or what you think the client can afford. The price must be calculated based on the products you use, your time, taxes, the space you work in, business expenses, and the profit you want to achieve.

Cum lucrezi legal și îți organizezi businessul

Maybe you can relate to this if…

  • You want to work legally, but you don't know where to start.
  • You don't understand the differences between a PFA, II, and SRL.
  • You don't know which legal form fits your activity.
  • You don't know where to go and who to ask.
  • You don't know if you need an accountant.
  • You work from home and don't know what conditions you need to meet.
  • You want to rent a studio, but you don't know what to check before signing the contract.
  • You don't know if you need commercial space.
  • You don't know what permits and documents your space might require.
  • You collect money, but you don't know how much you are really earning.
  • You have clients and your schedule is full, but at the end of the month, you have no money left.
  • You don't know what taxes you have to pay or how they are calculated.
  • You set your prices based on the competition.
  • You are afraid to raise your prices.
  • You have never calculated how many grams of product you consume for one service.
  • You confuse revenue with profit.
  • You want to start a business, not just list services and prices.

What you will learn about legal forms

  • What PFA (sole proprietorship), Individual Enterprise, and SRL (limited liability company) mean.
  • What the differences are between these legal forms.
  • What responsibilities each option entails.
  • How to choose a legal form based on your activity and the direction in which you want to grow.
  • What documents might be required for registration.
  • Where the business is registered and where you can ask for help.
  • When you need an accountant and what you should ask before choosing one.
  • What you can manage on your own and what is recommended to check with an accountant or a specialist.
  • How to properly organize your personal money and business money.
  • What the difference is between revenue, expenses, and profit.

The course explains the system so that you know what to ask, what to request, and what to verify. Tax and legal decisions for your situation are made together with the appropriate specialists.

What you will learn about the space in which you work

  • What you need to check if you want to work from home.
  • What the difference is between working in a common room of the home and a separate space intended for the activity.
  • What you need to check before renting a studio.
  • What working in a salon or a commercial space entails.
  • When changing the designation of a space may be necessary.
  • What questions you must ask the landlord before signing the contract.
  • Which authorities and specialists must be consulted before investing in the fit-out.
  • What permits, contracts, registers, and documents may be required.
  • How the space must be organized in order to work correctly and safely.
  • What mistakes can make an already furnished space impossible to authorize.

You don't invest money in a space just because it looks good. First, you verify whether it can be used and authorized for your activity, and only then do you sign and begin the fit-out.

What you will learn about taxes and accounting

  • What types of taxes may apply depending on the chosen legal entity.
  • How taxes are calculated for PFA, II, or SRL.
  • What the difference is between income tax, social security contributions (CAS), and health insurance contributions (CASS).
  • How you can withdraw and use your money based on your legal entity.
  • What a deductible expense means.
  • Why you must request documents for business expenses.
  • What VAT, cash registers, and invoicing mean.
  • Which thresholds you need to monitor.
  • What tax returns and deadlines may apply.
  • What you should receive monthly from your accountant to know the true status of your business.

Tax information will be explained using the figures valid at the time of filming. Because legislation can change, you will also learn what you need to check in the year you apply the information.

How to calculate the real cost of a manicure

In the course, I don't give you a general price to copy. I teach you how to calculate your own price, according to the reality of your business.

You will learn:

  • How to weigh products before and after completing a service.
  • How to find out how many grams of base, gel, acrygel, or other materials you have used.
  • How to calculate the real cost of each product used.
  • How to include consumables that seem unimportant but add up monthly.
  • How to calculate material costs for each type of service.
  • How to include rent, utilities, taxes, accounting, marketing, and other expenses.
  • How to calculate how much one hour of work costs you.
  • How to include preparation, cleaning, and organization time, not just the time spent with the client.
  • How to differentiate between the cost of a service and the final price.
  • How to add the profit your business needs to operate and grow.

How to set your correct price

The right price is neither your colleague's price nor the lowest amount that clients accept. Two technicians may perform the same service, but they may have completely different products, expenses, taxes, spaces, and timeframes.

In the course, you will learn:

  • How to calculate your price based on your actual costs.
  • How to determine how much you need to earn for every hour worked.
  • How to find out if you are working at a profit or a loss.
  • How to verify if a service is worth keeping on your list.
  • How to calculate how many clients you can realistically take on in a month.
  • How you can earn more without working yourself to exhaustion.
  • How to build your price list.
  • How and when to update your prices.
  • How to communicate a price increase to your clients.
  • Why a price that is too low can affect both the quality of your service and your health.

You can have high revenue and, at the same time, a very small profit. The purpose of this course is for you to understand exactly what remains after subtracting all expenses and taxes.

Documents and calculation tools

You won't just be left with theory. You will receive documents to fill out with your own business data:

  • Table for calculating the actual product consumption.
  • Sheet for weighing materials used for each service.
  • Calculator for the cost of a job.
  • Table for fixed and variable expenses.
  • Tool for calculating your hourly rate.
  • Calculator for determining the final price and profit.
  • Simulations for different revenue levels and legal structures.
  • Checklist for choosing and authorizing the space.
  • List of questions to ask your accountant.
  • Templates for documents and rules for client relations.

You enter your costs, quantities, time, and expenses, and the documents help you see how much the service costs you, what profit you are making, and what price you should set.

More clarity. A properly calculated business.

If you follow the lessons and complete the documents, you will have clear benchmarks for:

  • Choosing the right legal form for your situation.
  • Knowing where to go and who to ask for help.
  • Checking a space before investing in it.
  • Understanding the taxes and responsibilities your business may have.
  • Separating personal money from business money.
  • Calculating the real cost of each service.
  • Understanding the difference between revenue and profit.
  • Setting prices based on your numbers, not on the competition.
  • Knowing if you are working for profit or just to cover expenses.
  • Building a business that can support you in the long term.

The course does not replace an accountant or a lawyer and does not promise that the same option is suitable for everyone. It provides you with the explanations, calculations, documents, and the right questions so that you can make informed decisions for your own business.

It is for you if…

  • You want to start working legally.
  • You are already working, but you don't have a clear picture of your obligations.

  • You have many clients, but you don't know what profit you are making.

  • You are only looking for a practical nail course.
  • You are not interested in working legally or understanding your responsibilities.
  • You do not want to track and analyze your costs.
  • You prefer to set prices based solely on the competition.
  • You already have all procedures in place, you work with specialists, and you know exactly your costs, taxes, and profit.
